Teiresias

Teiresias, the blind seer, and oracle of Apollo. Gifted with prophetic abilities and unnaturally long life by Athena, Teiresias spent much of their time guiding heroes and kings with wisdom and whispers of their fates. However, Teiresias was also notoriously elusive, and rarely showed their face to their clients. Instead, they would send someone else with the messages in their place--and these people would refer to themselves as "Teiresias," as well. Unfortunately for Teiresias, this would become a burdensome practice when they were suddenly turned into a woman and no one would believe they were truly the blind prophet. They spent 7 years in slavery, until they were finally freed by their new friend Argus... only to watch Oedipus' cataclysm. Once Thebes finally fell, they decided to give their spirit to the only gods that ever came to their aid: the Furies.
